Hey everybody, I am back!! Camp was wondermous! I got a tan too! I met a lot of new friends, heard some good preaching and realized how old I am!!! All the kiddos I used to teach in Sunday school are taller than me now!! They have a huge amount of new things going on at the old camp grounds, Wii's, nintendo 64, ping pong, air hockey, human fuse ball, and the list goes on.... I played in the water fight both weeks and because I was staff, got drowned!! It was a blast though. So in the words of Michael Ray... Boom-shocka-locka!!
I will not be able to go back to work until August. I can't wait to be all better. I only hope that while I'm off I can spend my time being a blessing and not a burden. I feel old because my body will not keep up with what I want to do. I get tired so easy. I spent the weekend between camps at my aunt Karen's and the weekend after in Guthrie with Pecka and Grandma, I slept most of the time I was at their houses. How fun is that? I am glad my family understands, but I don't. LOL!! I just need a little bit more energy.
Well the 4th is just around the corner and then 4 days later I will be 32. A lot of people are supposed to be at my parents' to watch Rickey shoot off his millions of fireworks. I can't wait to hang out with them all. I wish my sissy girl could be here too. Oh well, she'll be home soon enough. Korea can't have her. We need her here. So for my birthday I would love to meet my husband!! LOL!!!! How awesome would that be?? Any way it is such a blessing to share my life with you, I will write again soon. Thank you for all your prayers!!!!!

Why I called it the Greener Side!
My first long term hospital stay was last October. I have been in and out of the hospital several times since then. I would like to share my new life with some loyal readers. I got to spend my first Christmas alone ever in a hospital during a blizzard. I was in the hospital for a lupus rash that would not heal ( it was on the left side of my upper thigh-lower bottom). So I just tell everyone I was "left behind in 09". Lol! I love that I didn't know how near death I was until the worst was over. Thanks to my HERO, my Mommy!
Then, I had to scare my Aunt Karen half to death when I had a stroke at her house in January. I spent even more time in the hospital. So I have to tell you to be so close to death without knowing it and not remembering some of it, I have become more aware of how precious life is...and I want to share my lil' moments of life on The Greener Side, with you!!
This morning I woke up at 6:30 seeing life at it's best. I got to go camping with my baby sister and her lot. I was in the back of my truck (suv) where I slept and woke to the site of the sun just rising and shimmering off of the water. It was so peaceful and beautiful it was like I was in a trance. I couldn't wait for all of the kids to wake up and break it. Soon they did and they did it with a bang. They were feeding the entire southern hemisphere of geese it looked like. The boys were chasing the geese and the girls were squealing every time one got close. That is a memory I will cherish for a long time to come.
I hope I can entertain you with my thoughts and memories. I am off to church camp starting Monday, so stay tuned.........
